Mentorship

Over the course of my studies and career, I have been blessed by several mentors who devoted their time and energy to provide me several advices and opening many doors for me to succeed. As part of the advising we do on a daily basis at Georgia Tech, we conduct mentoring to students and junior faculty members.

Two years ago, I was invited to join the Board of Directors (BoD) of a non-profit organization based in Altanta and called U-Beyond Mentorship. U-Beyond pa-u-beyond-red-croprovides mentorship, networking, leadership, and learning to the youth in our communities. We focus on high school students, college students, and young professionals. The experience has been very rewarding as one meets amazing individuals who are devoted to excellence, professionalism, civil duties, and a better tomorrow. In 2016, I was voted by the BoD as the new CEO and President of the organization. I thank everyone who makes U-Beyond a model organization and I thank the BoD and the two outstanding co-founders: Moe Mustafa and Omar Lattouf. Visit our web page and Facebook page for updates and the periodical newsletters. We always need new volunteers and new initiatives to empower the youth.
